DCH Redcross – DAY CARE HOSPITAL is functioning at IRCS TNB premises for the past 25 years and is rendering Health Care Services to the economically and socially downtrodden community.
The Hospital services are extended on various medical specialties. In and around Egmore poor community visiting the Day Care Hospital daily and getting medical treatment together with free Medicines Lab investigation, X-ray, ECG and other investigations have also been done in the Hospital. Highly qualified and experience Medical Experts visiting Day Care Hospital and rendering Honorary Service for the betterment of poor family in the Day Care Hospital. Master Health Check ups are undertaking with a nominal charge of Rs. 800/- at our Day Care Hospital.Besides, Mobile Medical Clinic with para medical staff visiting every week regularly to the Sri Lankan Refugee Camps and Creches at Puzhal and Gummidipoondi near Chennai and provides free Health Care services with free medicines to the inhabitants in the Camps.
Lactating Mothers, children , Old age men and women are regularly getting medical treatment in the said Camp. With a view to reach Health Care needs for the Villagers a Mobile Medical Camp has also been organised in the nearby villages.
We have also proposed to organise such camps in the Corporate, MNC and IT Employee in their Campus.

IRCS-TNB Day Care Hospital organized a Free Medical Camp for the Raj Bhavan employees on 08.01.2024 at Bharathiyar Mandapam, Raj Bhavan, Guindy, Chennai. The Honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. R.N. Ravi, President of the Indian Red Cross Society, Tamil Nadu Branch, was the Chief Guest of this camp. Dr. Justice M. Jaichandren, Former Judge of the High Court of Madras and Chairman of the Adhoc Committee of IRCS TNB, welcomed and honored the Chief Guest, the Honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu, for this camp.
During the visit, the Honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu personally checked his blood pressure. Dr. G. Gomathi, Medical Officer, explained the camp’s consultation and investigation to the Honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu. Additionally, the Honorable Governor appreciated all the IRCS officials and staff members. Finally, all the IRCS TNB staff and other camp members took a group photo with the Honorable Governor of Tamil Nadu.
The Free Medical Camp provided vital check-ups, sugar tests, hemoglobin tests, cholesterol tests, blood grouping, height, weight & BMI measurements, general check-ups, skin examinations, dental checkups, ECGs, sonomammogram scans, USG abdomen tests, eye examinations, and awareness sessions for Dengue & Kidney. A total of 155 patients benefited from the camp.
The day care hospital operates from Monday to Saturday. General and specialist doctors attend the day care hospital on a weekly basis.
